“Square Eye”
2020 saw life as we know it, change forever.
But for us Melbournians, we had 112 days straight where nothing seemed to change at all.
For weeks on end we did the same thing over and over again with no real end in sight.
We spent a lot of time at home, with brief outings and virtual catch ups our only relief.
We missed important events, holidays and gatherings. This Image is a comedic portrayal of life in lockdown.
But lockdown was also a very traumatic time for many.
This image is taken from the perspective of the Television looking back.
My image “Square Eye” was selected to be exhibited at the Monash Gallery of Arts. It was selected for their exhibition titled “STAGES”: life in lockdown.
